Our client is currently expanding the capabilities of their products in several new areas and are in need of very strong Java Developer to work on developing new trading functionality for the system.  It is an opportunity to work with a very senior level, growing software team recognized as the strongest in the industry.  This position will involve new product development and requires financial software experience.
Responsibilities:
•      Understanding and developing user interfaces for the trading of complex derivative securities.
•      Will work closely with the server teams and must be capable of spanning both Java and C# technologies.  
Need:
•      5+ years of professional Java development experience, strong Java n-tier application experience.
•      Hands-on experience with web services (i.e. Axis) is ideal. C#/.NET also highly desirable.
•      Strong SQL skills with considerable experience in at least one of: Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic or Websphere
•      Strong with OO design and development.
•      Strong algorithm design and data structures, good math background.
•      Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes.
•      Experience developing applications for the financial markets is required.
•      Advanced education in Computer Science or related from top university
