Established NYC Hedge Fund is looking for a Senior Java
•      Manage relationships and deliver solutions to various business units including Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Compliance, Accounting and others
•      Collaborate with our top-notch internal software development team, developing in-house solutions and integrating vendor products to deliver rich, enterprise software solutions
•      Enhance the firm’s proprietary Portfolio and Risk Management system, working directly with Portfolio Management teams, the Risk Management group, and the Accounting group
•      Architect and implement enhancements to our market data processing infrastructure, improving scalability, monitoring, and performance
•      Develop Trading and Regulatory Compliance and Surveillance tools
•      Enrich the software development environment and repository, looking for tools, products, or toolkits that will make the software development process more efficient
•      Review and optimize our version control architecture
•      Design and implement release management strategies, adding automation and control to application release management
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
•      A Computer Science degree from a top University
•      5 – 10 years of software development experience
•      Experience working in the financial industry
•      Deep understanding of Core Java (5,6), application server development, and Java Open Source toolkits, SQL abilities beneficial
