This is a hands-on position developing innovative, sophisticated systems and the analytical tools necessary to implement high frequency/low latency trading strategies. As part of the team, you will work directly with quantitative traders to develop algorithms that process data, execute trades, and manage positions. This specific team is focused on automated trading strategies that will involve the US equity, equity future, equity options, commodity and commodity markets.

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with a listed equity/index options or futures trading desk and have 4-6 yrs of similar development and research experience. Background with high frequency/high velocity trading using tick-by-tick data is a must. The ideal candidate will have a PhD along with strong programming skills (C#, C++). We will consider non-PhD Candidates with appropriate experience. Candidates must have strong communication skills to effectively communicate with both the development and trading team


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
* Previous multi-year exposure to trading / financial industry required
* 4-6 years hands-on developing multithreaded applications in C# or C++
* OO Methodology, Design Patterns etc
* Masters degree or PHD a plus
* Knowledge of operating systems and networks
* Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
* Confident team player motivated by a fast paced environment
