Leading consultancy is seeking an experienced Algo Developer to work on client site with leading Investment Banks.  All applicants must have a strong academic background in computer science, math/related field and at least 4-5 years recent object oriented development experience with C++ or Java (C# an advantage). This must include at least 12-months current experience in the Front Office of a leading global Financial Markets organisation
Additionally you must bring
•      Experience with multi-threaded programming
•      Practical knowledge of trading systems a plus, financial background strongly preferred.
•      Strong Windows development experience
•      Proven ability to effectively solve complicated development problems
•      Proven ability to work under time pressure and deliver on-time
•      Experience with Agile methodologies and Python or other scripting language knowledge
•      Excellent communication and presentation skills
•      Be willing to travel overseas as required

The successful applicant will have

•      Responsibility for design, development, deployment and testing of automated trading algorithms

•      Responsible for the development of a  backend trading server

•      Participate in the development of algorithmic support tools

•      Maintain close collaboration with the (Agile) development and business groups globally

•      Report to Development Manager overseas wiith some local direction from Product Management and other business groups

•      Provide support for a live production environment in a client facing offices
