QUANT TRADING FIRM IS LOOKING FOR A ;D QUANT ANALYST/RESEARCH, NYC AND HUSTON, TXQUANT ANALYST WILL Develop new multithreaded applications, manage the day to day needs of a production environment, monitor, tune and optimize real-time trading systems, work closely with trading, development and systems groups in an interdisciplinary manner
Require:
• PhD or advanced education in physics, math, computer science or related field.
• Professional programming, C++/C, etc.
• Proficiency in at least one major scripting language such as Python, Perl, Awk, etc.
• Experience with applied statistics and at least one major statistics package
