Title: low latency circuits? Post by VitalVoiceData on 11/05/09 at 22:00:29 Are you guys having more success finding lower latency circuits with single carriers or with network integrators that are leasing a bunch of fiber and digging out paths? |
Title: Re: low latency circuits? Post by VitalVoiceData on 11/09/09 at 17:26:38 It doesn't seem that this is a great place to ask about specific connectivity used when trading. Would anyone happen to have a recommendation of a more appropriate forum or other outlet to find this information? Thanks. |
Title: Re: low latency circuits? Post by Eitzik on 09/12/10 at 08:56:39 Don't be so pesemistic Vital. Surly, sep-11 wasn't a good day to post this. depends what u mean by low latency. 2s, 500ms, 100ms, 20ms or maybe 20us? What Exg?.... Each is priced differently and requires different HW. Maybe you should first ask yourself what latency your strategy needs to operate in? you can find on this forum the 2s-250ms connections. below that its more expensive and below 100ms is considered proffetional and can cost about 25k-200k a year.
