Established Hedge Fund is looking for a Lead Middle Office Systems Architect/Developer with Murex Experience
• 8-10 years experience developing trading/financial applications at a first tier hedge fund (strongly preferred), asset manager or investment bank.
• Broad and deep knowledge of:
- Financial instruments (Fixed Income, interest rate derivatives, currencies, commodities, equities, credit, mortgage-backed securities, etc.).
- Market data sources.
- Risk measures and reporting.
- Performance measurement and analysis, P&L calculations and reporting.
• Experience with trading floor environments.
• Familiarity with Murex (general user functionality of the system; APIs—RiskAPI, Trade Repository, others; MxML Exchange; data extraction/DataMart; market data management/MDCS).
• Significant Microsoft Windows (.NET, C#, ASP.NET, VB/VBA/VB script) development skills.
• Relational database programming experience (Sybase and MS SQL Server); strong SQL.
• Proficiency in scripting languages—Unix/Linux shell, Perl, Windows batch, VB and Java script.
• Solid programming and project practices.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent field is required; MS preferred.
